Tools & Materials

Chapter 1: The Stitches
A collection of non-typical, nameless crochet stitches created by the
author. This chapter features samples worked exclusively in these
unique stitches.
Design: Simple yet eye-catching based on a single stitch pattern.

Chapter 2: Linen Stitch Variations
This chapter features different textures and colors using the linen
stitch pattern as a base. A few how-to photos to explain the technique
may be required.
Design: A mix of colorwork and texture, likely the most colorful and
bright design in the book.

Chapter 3: Extended Single Crochet Stitch Variations
Building on the previous chapter, this part also takes the linen stitch as
a starting point but uses an uncommon approach to produce entirely
different textures. These textures lean towards the look of knit stitches
in knitting. This chapter involves colorwork, lace, and ribbing, so introductory and
how-to pictures are required.
Design: Kept simple for beginners due to the new technique, it'll likely
be an oversized and striking cowl.

Chapter 4: Single Crochet Ribbing Variations
Lace, eyelets, diamonds, and waves, all paired with single crochet
ribbing. The result is aesthetically reminiscent to knitted aran textures.
Design: As this is my latest technique in research, I cannot envision the
design at the moment.

Chapter 5: Crochet Cables
Continuing from the previous chapter, this section explores a variety of
crochet cables using single crochet ribbing in a unique manner.
Introduction and how-to pictures are required.
Design: Merging cables and stitch patterns from the previous chapter,
as they complement each other perfectly.
