Paul Brewer worked on War and Peace (Orbis 1983-85), a survey of military events and technology since 1945, and was managing editor of The Encyclopedia of World Terrorism (M.E. Sharpe 1997), the first serious and comprehensive encyclopedia on the subject of terrorism. He is the author of War in Focus (Carlton Books, 2005) and blogs on military and cultural history at warreadingroom.blogspot.com.
