Description
This companion guide to the book Storytelling With Purpose features practical, engaging digital projects teachers can use immediately in their classrooms.

At a time when artificial intelligence (AI) and low student engagement have everyone wondering about the future of school, nonfiction digital storytelling projects like the ones in this guide provide meaningful, authentic learning experiences students will look forward to completing, while giving educators an uncheatable way to assess student learning.

Based on the bestselling book Storytelling With Purpose, this jump start guide offers an introduction to the storytelling process and shows how it can be applied in all academic areas. The guide includes practical tips and hands-on projects teachers in all subject areas can share with their students immediately. • An overview of digital storytelling and how it can be used in the classroom.
  • An explanation of storytelling forms, such as data visualization, explainer videos, podcasts and more.
  • Project suggestions for math, science, social studies and language arts.
