This volume offers a multi-faceted perspective on crises, security and responsibility, of interest to scholars and policy-makers engaging with themes of safety, preparedness and resilience. With its grounding perspectives emerging from or looking toward the High North, it is of particular relevance for those interested in Arctic governance, security and environmental challenges. Themes include sudden, creeping and compounding crisis; ethics, justice, trust and legitimacy; climate and environment; nature/technology issues, as well as crisis communication and response.
