With a degree in molecular biology and genetics, she loves turning the wonders of the human body into stories and interactive adventures for young readers. She enjoys traveling with a backpack and exploring nature with the curiosity she once reserved for the lab. In her free time, she treasures moments with family, friends, and a good book, always falling asleep immersed in fantasy. She lives in Brno, Czech Republic.
Helena Harastova is a writer, translator, and mother. She graduated in dramaturgy from the Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts, having previously worked for the National Theatre in Brno, Czech Republic. Her most unusual pastime is proofreading texts for errors in spelling, grammar, and style. She lives in Brno, Czech Republic.
Marie Urbankova studied Scenography at the Žižkov Secondary School of Art and Design before graduating in Animated Film from the Academy of Arts, Architecture, and Design in Prague. She has a number of children’s books to her name and is a regular contributor to a Czech children’s magazine. In addition to illustrations and books, she enjoys animated films and all that goes along with them. She is from the Czech Republic.
