Alyse Stewart is an artist from Manteo, North Carolina, with a lifelong passion for creating and telling stories. From the moment she could hold a pencil, she drew everything that sparked her imagination: from the fairies she believed lived in the garden to the troll she was sure lurked beneath the house. That early sense of wonder drove her desire to bring the magic she saw in the world to life.
Discovering Dungeons & Dragons—a game rooted in creativity, imagination, and storytelling—set Alyse on the path to becoming a professional fantasy illustrator. After graduating from the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Arts, she continued to refine her craft through mentorships with established artists and online programs such as CGMA and SmART School.
She now works full-time as a professional illustrator in the TTRPG and book publishing industry, creating covers and interior art for the kinds of stories that first inspired her. Alyse’s love of the fantasy genre, along with her passion for helping other aspiring artists develop their skills, continues to drive her artistic journey.
