Thomas Ask spent much of his career as a practicing engineer and now teaches at the Pennsylvania College of Technology,. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and has supervised testing with UL and Factory Mutual. His designs include products and systems for combustion, natural gas piping, fire protection, and custom engineered systems. 

Tom has earned his NATE Service Technician certification for air conditioning and heat pumps and EPA608 Universal Certification. He also has his NOCTI Plumbing instructor rating. Tom was a member and faculty advisor of ASHRAE and ASEE as well as serving on technical committees for AGA and SAE.
