Derivation, in particular through suffixation, is a major process of lexical creation. This study analyzes three suffixes in Proto-Romance: */‑ˈur‑a/, */‑ˈjon‑e/ et */‑ˈor‑e/. While they are often presented as forming (abstract) action nouns, a comparative approach reveals that they function in a more complex way. The aim is to gain a better understanding of their role and relationships within the Proto-Romance system.
