Reviews
"What a deep pleasure this exceedingly lovely book is, that rewards us with glimpses suspended in time of wild birds in their most intimate moments.  Nathan's expert ability and patient attention to nature and habitat have crafted spectacular photographs that transport us to the creek, the meadow, the wood where he observed them. The narrative supplied enhanced the charm of each image, offering a respite from a busy day and a balm for the spirit."
—Ashley Juddactress

"Nathan Collie has studied the behavior of birds deeply and patiently. He knows how to catch them in their most revealing and enchanting moments. In his beautiful photographs, he brings us closer to appreciating the wondrous nature of birds in the wild."
—Paul Kingsbury, coauthor of Hatch Show Print: The History of a Great American Poster Shop and Treasures Untold: Uncovering Masterpieces of Nature Across Tennessee

"Since he was a child, Nathan Collie has possessed a unique and often unbelievable ability to communicate with all God’s creatures in the wild. And now, through the lens of his camera, it is wonderfully apparent these beautiful birds are communicating with him."
—Mark Collie, musician, songwriter, and actor
