This attack on America is so subtle no one will hear it coming, and by then it will be too late.
When a cabal of Big Tech billionaires launches a covert plan to seize control of the U.S. government through cognitive warfare and social media manipulation, attorney and former Delta Force Tier One operator Adam Drake becomes their biggest obstacle.
A ten-million-dollar bounty is placed on his head.
With time running out and the only evidence capable of exposing the cabal held by one of Mexico's most violent drug cartels, Drake is forced into a brutal race for survival. Hunted by a relentless cartel assassin and shadowed by enemies who can erase lives with a keystroke, Drake must stay one step ahead long enough to save America from becoming a Marxist nation.
A taut, adrenaline-fueled thriller ripped from tomorrow's headlines.
Set against a volatile landscape of cartel brutality, political deception and global brinkmanship, ASilent Coup delivers relentless action, razor-sharp intrigue and a chilling vision of how easily a nation can be pushed into war.

Scott Matthews lives in Oregon, where he met his wife, attended the University of Oregon and earned degrees in Journalism and Law. He served in the Oregon National Guard, first as a CBR Specialist and later as a JAG officer. That's the bare bones of his Bio. The rest of the story is that he got hooked reading Ian Fleming's James Bond novels at an early age and has read just about everything in that genre since then. He outlined stories he intended to write for years before he finally sat down and wrote THE ASSASSIN'S LIST, the start of the Adam Drake Thriller series. He likes wine, especially wine from Oregon's wine country, fishing and hunting and following Formula One racing. And, of course, reading thrillers.
