Melanie Demmer is an American author and illustrator who has illustrated over 20 picture books, including the New York Times bestseller The Office: A Day at Dunder Mifflin Elementary. She debuted as an author in 2022 with Cookie Kindness and Candy Contest! and also works in art licensing and greeting card design. Melanie enjoys creating illustrations of animals and food and focuses on work that positively impacts children and families. In her spare time, she practices yoga, listens to mystery thrillers, and experiments with recipes from food shows, while also teaching part-time at the College for Creative Studies. She was born in Michigan, USA, and now resides in Salt Lake City.
