Born in Italy, Michael Mirolla is a Montreal-Toronto novelist, short story writer, poet and playwright. His publications include the novels Berlin and The Boarder; two short story collections, The Formal Logic of Emotion and Hothouse Loves & Other Tales; a bilingual Italian-English poetry collection, Interstellar Distances/Distanze Interstellari; and the poetry collection Light and Time. His writing has received many awards in Canada.
