Susan Marston has had a life-long love of children’s books—as a child, a babysitter, a teacher, and, for twenty-five years, as editorial director of the Junior Library Guild. Her first book What Color Is Your Favorite Month? — co-written by Stepanka Sekaninova — is set to be published in May 2026. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Magdalena Konecna illustrated her first book when she was only 17 years old. Her main sources of inspiration are her dreams, travels, and the natural world.
