The best introduction to this work is the author’s prelude: "I read many books on marriage's benefits, but found no dedicated volume that satisfies... So, reflecting, I delved deep into Hadith and traditions, diving for pearls, extracting unique gems, bringing rare benefits." This critical edition unveils a rare, unpublished treatise by a prominent disciple of Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, addressing marriage, family rights, and Islamic education. Although unique, the author left it incomplete, refining it until death. Its marginalia branched out and the archetype suffered damage, requiring exceptional effort in textual verification and editing to offer a qualitative addition to the Islamic library.

George Kadr is a Syrian-Dutch writer and researcher, holding a BA in journalism from Damascus University (2000). He has published 15 books on history, literature, and religions, including the project The Sex Library in Arab Life, Dictionary of Arab Gods Before Islam, and Nawāḍir al-Ayk: A New Edition of al-Suyūṭī's Work on Erotica Literature (Brill, 2025).
