Laura Borio is an award-winning illustrator and writer from Italy. As a child Laura drew on the kitchen walls with colored pencils but became a children's book illustrator when she realized drawing on paper was even better. She has illustrated middle-grade novels, coloring books and picture books including Klyde the Kracken Wants a Friend. Laura loves inventing stories that make people smile. She lives in Turin, Italy.
