Maja Povrzanović Frykman, born 1960, is a professor of ethnology at the Department of Global Political Studies and an affiliate of Malmö Institute for Migration Studies, Malmö Universitet. Her research encompasses war experiences, labour and refugee migrants identifications, diaspora and transnational practices, highly skilled migrants, material culture, and affect.
Eleonora Narvselius, born in 1972, is an anthropologist affiliated with Lunds Universitet. Her research focuses on European memory cultures, narrative analysis, ethnicity, and nationalism. Throughout her academic career, she has been involved in several international research projects examining urban environments, collective memories, and the cultural heritage of East-Central European borderlands.
Cristine Sarrimo, born in 1960, is an associate professor of literary studies at the Centre for Languages and Literature, Lunds Universitet, where she did her doctorate. At the intersection of literature, media- and migration studies her research is focusing on autobiographies, testimonial writing of war experiences, cultural journalism and the literary public sphere.
