Governments and organizations are investing rapidly in artificial intelligence, digital twins, IoT and emerging technologies, yet outcomes often lag. The challenge is not technology alone, but the absence of decision-oriented system design, governance and institutional capability.
Architecting Intelligent Governance shifts the focus from technology adoption to decision architecture. It explains when intelligent technologies add value, how physical, data, AI and decision layers should connect, and how uncertainty, risk and accountability must be governed. Using cross-sectoral examples, the book examines digital twins, immersive systems, AI-enabled decisions, risk, assurance, skilling and implementation. It reframes ROI beyond financial return to include decision quality, transparency, resilience and reduced systemic risk.
For practitioners, policymakers and graduate readers, it offers a practical framework for designing intelligent systems that deliver accountable outcomes.
