A 'why choose' paranormal romance opening a shapeshifter trilogy: a supernatural assassin, a corrupt ruling Council, and forbidden bonds with the very leaders she was sent to kill. Steamy fated-mates tension wrapped in conspiracy and betrayal.
They thought I was their loyal assassin. They were wrong.
For years, I served the Council, the most powerful force in the supernatural world, as their shapeshifting weapon. Every kill brought me closer to avenging my mother’s death.
Then they ordered me to eliminate the Sabre and Wolf leaders, claiming they were a danger to us all, that they threatened to expose our hidden world. I believed I was preventing a war.
It was all a lie. They said it was about peace, but it was about control.
Now, as the truth unravels, I’m drawn to the very leaders I was sent to destroy, bound by a connection that runs deeper than blood. They’re more than my targets. So much more.
Torn between vengeance and a destiny I can’t escape, my next move will change everything. It could spark a war, unite our world, or destroy it.
