MELISSA BUBNIC is a playwright and screenwriter from Melbourne, currently living in London. She studied at the University of Melbourne and completed a Masters in Writing for Performance at Goldsmiths, University, London. She attended the 2007 World Interplay Playwrights’ Festival as one of nine Australian delegates. Her play Beached won the 2010 Patrick White Award from the Sydney Theatre Company. Other plays include Stop. Rewind and Emoticon. Melissa is currently developing numerous TV projects, including an original comedy-drama series with Clerkenwell Films for Channel 4 (UK). She also writes for UK TV show, Shameless.
