For fans of The Writing Retreat and The Guest List: A sunny cruise takes a dark turn for a group of college friends when one suddenly vanishes . . .
For Laura, the five-day luxury cruise with her college crew was meant to honor the memory of their friend, Jeremy, whom they’d lost ten months prior in a tragic accident. But it’s difficult to find any closure when she’s stuck in close proximity to her recently divorced ex-boyfriend, Ethan, and her judgmental husband, Dan. And as old tensions resurface, some in the group are growing suspicious of the real motives that brought them all there.
Ethan suspects there’s more to Jeremy’s death than an accidental drowning, and this vacation is his chance to finally get answers. He can’t walk away from this cruise without discovering the truth. But he’s having a hard time focusing with the love of his life, the one who got away, on board. Ethan’s torn between gathering evidence about what really happened to Jeremy and the possibility there could still be something between him and Laura.
But the situation turns dire when one of their own disappears. With the clock ticking to find their missing friend as the ship heads into a treacherous storm, Laura and Ethan start to wonder just how well they know their old friends. They all have their secrets, but who has one they’d kill to keep hidden?
