Joe Cuhaj is one of "those" Yankees who moved to Alabama and fell in love with the state and its amazing landscapes. A freelance writer by night, he is a software programmer by day and an outdoor enthusiast at all times. His career also has included years in radio broadcasting and public relations. Regardless of what he does for work, most every weekend will find this author/computer geek/broadcaster/PR guy hiking the trails of the state, building new trails, or pitching a tent for a night out under the stars. Based in Daphne, AL, Joe's love of his adopted home state shows in the titles of other books he has authored: Baseball in Mobile, Hike America: Alabama, Hiking Alabama, and Paddling Alabama.
