David earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from St. Olaf College (Northfield, Minnesota) and a Master of Arts degree in Education, Natural Sciences, and Environmental Education from Hamline University (St. Paul, Minnesota). In addition to bird-watching, David enjoys camping, canoeing, snowshoeing, and fishing. He shares his enthusiasm for nature and outdoor recreation with everyone he meets.
