Why are artists increasingly turning to plants, mysticism, and spirituality in an age of ecological crisis? This book offers a new way of understanding the relationship between art, plant-thinking, and ecological imagination. It argues that environmental destruction is inseparable from the ways Western modernity has imagined matter, consciousness, and humanity's relationship with the more-than-human world.
