Jeremy Armstrong is a Senior Lecturer in Ancient History at the University of Auckland. He is the author of War and Society in Early Rome: From Warlords to Generals (CUP, 2016) and the editor of a number of volumes, including Rituals of Triumph (Brill, 2013) and Circum Mare: Themes in Ancient Warfare (Brill, 2016).
Matthew Trundle was Chair and Professor of Classics and Ancient History at the University of Auckland. He has published widely on Greek history, society and economy including Greek Mercenaries (Routledge, 2004) and, co-edited with G. Fagan, New Perspectives on Ancient Warfare (Brill, 2010).
