What does it cost—and what sustains—a woman who follows the Spirit’s call into leadership when the path is narrow, contested, and often unseen? Drawing on in-depth interviews with credentialed women leaders in the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, this book listens closely to their lived experiences of calling, resistance, affirmation, and perseverance. You encounter their stories of navigating people and policies, and discover how power, gender, and theology shape everyday ministry. This study introduces the Lived Experience Cycle and identifies three formative social processes—affirming, making space, and mentoring. This work reframes Pentecostal pastoral theology by centring women’s voices and offering practical, theologically grounded insights for scholars and leaders alike.
