The Glasgow Comparative and International Education Research (GLACIER) Network is a group of academics working at the School of Education at the University of Glasgow. The GLACIER Collective consists of 14 members of this group who have come together to produce this textbook as a contribution to the field. More than just an edited collection, the book represents a process of building and negotiating the contents, approach, and text, with all members sharing equal attribution and responsibility.

Preeti Dagar is Lecturer in Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Clara Fontdevila is former Research Associate at the University of Glasgow School of Education, currently based at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Janice Kim is Lecturer in Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Jack Lee is Senior Lecturer in Higher Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Paul Lynch is Reader in Inclusive Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Simon McGrath is Professor of Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Leping Mou is Lecturer in Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Yulia Nesterova is Lecturer in Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.

Michele Schweisfurth is Professor Emerita of Comparative and International Education at the University of Glasgow School of Education.
