Every collage tells a story. What if you could use yours to better understand yourself?
Created by visual artist and collage specialist Rebeka Elizegi and medical doctor, mental health researcher and PhD Paola Buedo, Cut, Create, Connect combines the creative practice of collage with psychology-informed reflection and mental wellbeing.
Across six themes—identity, emotions, values, purpose, relationships and personal growth—you’ll explore ideas and questions designed to encourage self-reflection, before turning those thoughts into images through cut-out pictures, composition, colour and visual storytelling.
Inside you’ll find:
- Guided collage projects exploring different aspects of yourself
- Psychology-informed reflections and creative exercises
- Practical collage techniques using images, composition and colour
- Specially designed pages of cut-out materials
- Prompts to help you reflect on who you are, where you’ve been and where you’re going
- No previous artistic experience is needed. Whether you’re an experienced collage artist or picking up a pair of scissors for the first time, Cut, Create, Connect offers an accessible and engaging way to slow down, make something with your hands and see yourself from a different perspective.
More than an art activity book, this is a creative tool for self-exploration—bringing together artistic expression and psychological insight to help you reflect, experiment and reconnect with yourself.
Creative, thoughtful and deeply personal, Cut, Create, Connect shows how making something uniquely your own can open up new ways of understanding yourself.
