In a kingdom where a noble's worth is determined by their blessing, Lady Cellestia Varst has spent her life branded blessingless. Refusing to accept her place, she forces her way into the Academy's elite Special Curriculum, where the kingdom's strongest students prepare for the return of the Enigma, an ancient calamity that awakens every thousand years and reduces its victims to living flames.

But Cellestia isn't there to become a soldier. Her father has already begun to combust, and she has only one year to save him.

Her only hope lies in twelve forgotten curses hidden within ancient myths, folktales, and riddles. Break them all, and the Enigma may disappear forever. With the first curse hidden somewhere inside the Academy, Cellestia begins chasing forbidden corridors, impossible whispers, and secrets no one else believes, only for every clue to lead her back to Crown Prince Julius, the kingdom's golden heir blessed with the sacred power of light.

A shoujo romantic fantasy weaving magical academia, supernatural mystery, forgotten legends, and a slow-blooming romance into a race against an approaching apocalypse.
