Step into the rapidly changing world of aviation, where drones are redefining how we use the skies. In Drone Law and Policy, you explore the key legal questions shaping this technological revolution: How can unmanned aircraft safely share airspace with traditional aviation? What rules govern commercial, recreational, and government drone use? How do privacy, security, liability, and international law adapt to autonomous flight?
Through clear analysis and vivid examples—from early military experiments to modern air-taxi concepts—you discover how law struggles to keep pace with innovation. Drawing on rare historical insights, evolving EU and U.S. regulations, and emerging U-space systems, this book offers a unique bridge between aviation law theory and real-world practice. If you want to understand the legal future of drones, this book is your essential guide.
