In rural Georgia, something no one can see is killing people.
Cooper M. Reid once investigated impossible phenomena for a covert government division, but after vanishing for a year and returning with no memory of where he’d been, he now follows an instinct he can’t explain toward those threatened by the supernatural. That instinct leads him deep into a remote Georgia town where people are dying from strange, unexplained injuries. What first looks like a series of peculiar head traumas quickly unravels into something far more disturbing—cracks in space and time.
But before he can piece the mystery together, Cooper is captured by locals who either know the truth or have lost their grip on reality. Badly beaten and held prisoner, he comes face-to-face with a familiar stranger in a Hawaiian shirt and finally begins to uncover clues about his own missing year… all while struggling to survive yet another impossible situation
Dust and Bones is the third book in the Cooper M. Reid supernatural thriller series, perfect for fans of The X-Files, Supernatural and folklore-driven mysteries.

Barry's stories are typically going to be a little spooky, if not downright scary (but this is not always the case). But he also offers glimmers of hope here and there. Some of his work could be categorized as Christian fiction, though there are typically elements of the paranormal and horror running throughout.
Barry works as a ghostwriter and lives in Virginia with his wife, three kids, and too many pets.
