Domino Renee Perez is an Associate Professor of English and Native American Studies at the University of Texas, San Antonio, and received her PhD from Cornell University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on life stories, testimonios, memoirs, and autobiographies by women of color. She has taught Chican@, Native American, and Ethnic Studies courses at Cornell, Mount Holyoke, Oberlin, Nevada State, and UTSA. She is especially dedicated to student-centered learning and integrates testimonio into her classes where she values and validates everyone's lived experiences.
