Discover the intimate processes, inspirations, and visions of today’s most innovative embroidery artists. Embroidery Artists on Creative Processes showcases the work of some of the world’s most innovative embroidery artists, who share the inspirations, techniques, and creative strategies that define their practice. Through interviews and vibrant visuals, the book reveals how artists transform thread, fabric, and other materials into expressive narratives—ranging from traditional stitches to experimental, mixed techniques. Organized into sections such as Embroidering Emotion, Nature, Reality, and Dreams, it explores diverse conceptual approaches, from intuitive self-taught creators to trained fine artists. The volume highlights the meditative and imaginative nature of embroidery, showing how it conveys emotion, anchors stories, and bridges tradition with personal experience. A visually rich celebration of contemporary textile art, it serves as a source of inspiration for artists, designers, and all who value creative expression.
