Ernst Cassirer: Scientific Knowledge and the Concept of Man by Seymour W. Itzkoff is currently one of the few books available in the English language that discusses the philosophy of twentieth-century German philosopher Ernst Cassirer. Seymour W. Itzkoff is Professor of Education at Smith College, Northampton, MA. He is the author of numerous books including The Decline of Intelligence in America, A Strategy for National Renewal (1994).
