Fred Grünfeld, Ph.D (1991, Maastricht), was professor at the University of Utrecht in the Causes of Gross Human Rights Violations at the Centre for Conflict Studies and is associate professor at Maastricht University of International Relations in the Faculty of Law at the Centre for Human Rights. In this series he published The Failure to Prevent Genocide in Rwanda (2007) and International Crimes and other Gross Human Rights Violations (2011).
