Kathy Oppegard helps organizations within the environmental movement engage communities with their good work in the world, whether as volunteers, participants, or staff. She is a high-volume activist. Under her patient and enthusiastic management, literal tons of clothing have been collected for Goodwill Industries and tons of computer and electronics have been reused or recycled. She has coordinated hundreds of volunteers for America Recycles Day, and for Pollution Prevention Week for the state of Wisconsin, through the Department of Natural Resources.
