Martin Baumann is professor of the study of religions at the University of Lucerne. He studies Buddhist and Hindu traditions in Europe and published the text book Religion und Migration, co-authored with Alexander K. Nagel (Nomos 2023).
Jørn Borup is associate professor of the study of religions at Aarhus University. He studies global Buddhism, Japanese religion, religious diversity, and theories in the study of religion and published the monograph Decolonising the study of religion: who owns Buddhism? (Routledge 2023) and co-edited Buddhism in the Nordic Countries (Routledge 2025).
Knut A. Jacobsen is professor at the University of Bergen and a Senior Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies. His latest books are the monograph Hinduism in the World: Migrations and Global Presence (Routledge 2025) and the co-edited Buddhism in the Nordic Countries (Routledge 2025).
