Johanna Spyri's timeless classic from the Alps, told in beautiful illustrations by a Swiss papercut artist

Heidi, with more than 50 million copies sold around the world, is one of the bestselling books of all time. A global treasure, Heidi was inscribed on the International Memory of the World Register of UNESCO in 2023.

For the first time, Swiss illustrator, Carole Aufranc, has captured the timeless classic of the girl in the Alps in a series of only 30 simple and beautiful illustrations. The illustrated adaptation will excite young readers as they follow Heidi and her uncle in the mountains amongst their goats, then on to her challenges far away, and finally her triumphant return. This version will delight anyone who loves Heidi as well as those who haven't yet gotten the chance to hear her heartwarming story.
