Katabathini Narasimharao completed his Master of Science in 1996 from Andhra University, Vizag, India and Ph.D. in 2002 from the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. He was awarded the 2004 Rev. Fr. Lourdu M. Yeddanapalli award from the Catalysis Society of India for best PhD thesis.After Postdoctoral positions in the University of Missouri-Kansas City, USA and The Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, he was awarded RSC, UK visiting fellowship to work at the University of York, UK. He is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is joint inventor of 15 USA, European and Indian patents and also authored more than 100 publications in reputed international journals.

Huda Sharbini Kamaluddin received her M.Sc. (2010) & PhD (2016) degrees in physical chemistry from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Saudi Arabia. Then, Guest researcher (2014) in the international collaboration project with Utrecht University (UU), Netherlands (with Prof. Bert Weckhuysen). Since 2010, she has worked as an assistant researcher and joined as a postdoctoral fellow (2020) at the Surface Chemistry and Catalytic Studies (SCCS) group at KAU. She is presently working as a scientific researcher at KAU. She has 7 publications, including 2 bookchapters and 5 scientific articles. Her main research interests focus on the synthesis, characterization and application of heterogeneous catalysts.
