Myron Caldwell’s book, Humble and Kind, is the story of his parents: two ordinary individuals who lived during extraordinary times.

Born during the Roaring Twenties, Frank Caldwell, a farm boy, and Faye Lawing, a girl from a mill village, came of age during the Great Depression and World War II. They married, worked hard, built a house, and reared four sons.

Theirs was a simple, but special life together, grounded in faith, perseverance, and love for more than 65 years. Forever humble and kind in good times and bad, Frank and Faye were thankful for what they had and never worried about what they did not need. While Frank and Faye never achieved great wealth, accolades, or notoriety, they had an abundance of what was most meaningful - a loving family, good friends, and happy memories.
