Organizations don’t innovate; people do!
Innovation is not simply the structured role of specialized departments; it is fundamental to how we all engage with the world. While fear remains the greatest barrier to that engagement, innovation is essential to progress. Teresa Mandl’s ground-breaking new book offers a practical guide to innovation, going beyond processes and technology to explore responsibility, freedom, and human sustainability.
The book helps readers develop an intuitive sense for spotting opportunities, connecting what they know with what they have, and turn emerging ideas into measurable progress. Drawing on hands-on experience and interviews with practitioners, this is an essential field guide for those who want to move beyond theory and start getting things done. The book maps the conditions that shape breakthroughs, explores innovation in practice, challenges common assumptions, places responsibility at the center, and engages with voices from arts, community movements, and business.
The result is Impactful Innovation, a book that connects rigorous analysis with human stories – offering both frameworks and inspiration to rethink how innovation emerges, who drives it, and what impact it will have. Drawing on real-world experience and diverse voices, it helps readers spot opportunities, connect ideas, and turn emerging insights into meaningful impact.
