Industrial Chemistry examines the largest chemical processes performed in industry and looks at how they affect our lives by discussing the products, as well as by-products, pollution/ waste generation, and attempts at making each of these processes more ecologically friendly, or “greener”. The author establishes connections between basic chemistry and the chemical processes that are used in all facets of real life. This 3rd edition adds the availability and procurement of basic materials and reinforces the existing and potential recycling processes for each commodity.
