After four parts of volume IG XII 4 with epigraphs from Kos, the fifth part contains 350 epigraphs from the neighboring island of Kalymna, which became a demos of Kos in the late 3rd century BCE. From the period before that are numerous decrees of honor and the famous verdict of the judge of Knidos from a legal dispute between Kalymna and Kos. Unique for the Aegean are around 40 certificates of release for slaves from the early imperial period.
