The finale of a coming-of-age YA urban fantasy series, sending its heroine after a legendary blade through badlands and lost temples. Martial-arts magic, a centuries-old enemy, and a last test of light against dark.

One Blade Left To Find. One Fear Left To Master. One Final Battle.

Katana is running out of road. Jaaku, the centuries-old dark lord who's hunted her power as his key to eternal life, is closing the distance, and the only weapon that can stop him is the legendary sword of Fujiwara, concealed among lethal deserts and forgotten temples.

Every step toward the blade drags Katana closer to the one fear she's never been able to face. Yin and yang. Dark and light. Neither can exist without the other.

The final battle is coming, and it'll demand a choice: embrace her true identity, whatever it costs, or watch Jaaku claim forever.

Katana Godan is the fifth and final book in the Katana Series, a YA urban fantasy, for readers who love quest adventures, martial-arts magic, dark-lord showdowns and coming-of-age stakes. Perfect for fans of Cassandra Clare, Rick Riordan and Kim Harrison.

Praise for the Katana Series:

★★★★★ “It damn near ripped my heart out!”

Ken Warner grew up reading science fiction and fantasy; his early favorites were The Chronicles of Narnia, Dune, and of course, Lord of the Rings. When he began his martial arts training in high school, he heard many myths and legends about masters who possessed mysterious powers, typically attributed to their internal chi energy. He often thought these legends would make a great story. This ultimately led to his first books, The Katana Series. Ken continues to focus on science fiction and fantasy in his writing. He went full time with his author career late in 2020. Ken lives in Connecticut with his wife, Parveen, and their many dogs and cats.
