Alexis Perkins graduated magna cum laude from Norfolk State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and broadcast journalism. Alexis then went on to get her Group Exercise Certification and Personal Fitness Trainer Certification through the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). She also continued her trainings and is currently licensed to teach Zumba® fitness and MixxedFit. Alexis is also proud of coordinating the largest dance fitness event in her hometown of Hampton, Virginia, called Love Fest.

Tyshawna went to a performing arts high school called Newark Arts High where she was an art major. She then earned a master's degree in architecture from Hampton University. Tyshawna is now the business owner of T. Witherspoon Design Studio, formally known as TSpell Designs Graphic Design Company. Tyshawna is also a dance fitness instructor who teaches Zumba and a MixxedFit National Trainer and Master Educator. She is also known as a personal protective hair stylist to many, which she calls “Hair by TSpoon.” This talented young woman is deeply connected with many women through her talent and prides herself in sharing her gifts with love.
