Art Space City provides an overview of three years of art at the School of Architecture at the TU Berlin, where the Berlin artist Stefanie Bürkle was appointed Professor of Visual Arts in 2009.

Stefanie Bürkle geb. 1966, studierte Szenographie in Paris und freie Kunst an der ehemaligen Hochschule der Künste in Berlin, heute UdK. Sie arbeitete als Bühnenbildnerin am Théatre des Amandiers in Paris und in Berlin am Berliner Ensemble und am HAU1. Als Künstlerin und Stadtforscherin untersucht sie die Wahrnehmung von Stadtraum mit unterschiedlichen Medien wie Malerei, Video und Fotografie. Seit 2009 ist sie Professorin für Bildende Kunst am Institut für Architektur der TU Berlin.
