A dark apocalyptic science fiction thriller of asteroid survival, covert space missions and terror beneath the Earth.
In the darkness, you can’t always trust the light.
A year has passed since asteroid AG5 struck Earth, but the first impact was only the beginning. Six more asteroids are approaching, and the world’s finest minds have assembled on the International Space Station for a covert mission that could save civilisation.
In the United States, former Director General Steiner faces trial for acts of terror, while the knowledge he carries may be humanity’s only defence.
Far beneath the surface, Sarah Morgan and Richard Goodwin are stranded in separate regions of Sanctuary. Both are fighting to escape, unaware that the strange light moving through the buried city is not guiding them to safety.
Let There Be Light is Book Three in the Ancient Origins series, perfect for readers who love A.G. Riddle, Michael Grumley and James Rollins, with space-based science fiction, global catastrophe and underground horror.

Praise for the Ancient Origins series:
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The series is a kind of Indiana Jones meets the Apocalypse!
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish the movie people would put this one on the big screen.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little reality, a lot of the unknown, futuristic and sci-fi all together.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This author is a terrific writer who also happens to have one heck of an imagination.
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was like Indiana Jones and Lara Croft, along with military intrigue, rolled up together.
Writing came relatively late in life, after a car accident and a health condition that left Rob at his home in Kent in the UK, with time to finally start a career he had always dreamed of.
The result was a book called 2040: Revelations. Set on earth in the near future as a huge asteroid neared its inevitable collision. Part of the book was concerned with the political response to the cataclysmic event and part was a startling tale of an archaeological discovery that would turn earth's history upside down.
Both aspects of the story are grounded in real life. Many countries have secret plans for an extinction level event, including secretive underground bunkers. And plenty of archaeologists have discussed the possibility that the ground beneath us still holds many secrets.
With a growing fanbase of readers, Rob wrote and published five further books in the series, renaming them 'Ancient Origins' along the way.
Tragically, while working on books 7 and 8, Rob lost his life. He was just 42 years old.
Today Rob's books are published by Fuse Books in collaboration with Rob's parents Terry and Maureen.
Together they plan to posthumously publish Ancient Origins books 7 and 8.
