On a night unlike any other, a mysterious inheritance draws a young miniature artist into the footsteps of Yusuf Agâh Efendi, opening a path from Soho to Fes, from Istanbul to Medina, through dreams, secrets, and a light from which every colour takes its hue. As dream and reality dissolve into one another, each encounter shifts the course, drawing it towards an unseen horizon. Told in a way where endings echo beginnings and stories fold into one another, this singular narrative moves beyond a single timeline, unfolding as a continuous passage.
A world brought to life through the medium of paper, fabric and layered collage, MADAD is a visually striking illustrated novel, where history meets mystery.
