Under the Spell of the Emerald Isle: Where Myths are Alive

The spirit of Ireland unfolds in this volume through its landscapes and legends.  From towering cliffs and gentle dunes to green meadows, mysterious bogs, and surreal karst formations, the authors guide us through a world forged by fire, water, and time.

Renowned photographer Max Schmid captures this unique enchantment in striking, atmospheric images, while writer Gabrielle Alioth vividly brings Ireland’s ancient myths and legends to life.  retells the country's sagas and myths with a touch of humor and a twinkle in her eye. Together, they paint a richly layered portrait of a land whose soul lies embedded in the forces of nature and the art of storytelling.
