This special issue scrutinises the migration and diasporic experiences of people from the former Soviet Union. It explores the intricate histories of migrants, their current realities, and future aspirations, all influenced by a tapestry of spatio-temporal orders and their interrelations. Specifically, the collection investigates the relevance of "(post-)socialism" in interpreting the nuanced shifts within diasporic life. It explores how connections are forged, and disconnections are navigated, and how past experiences are continually fused and re-configured, thereby shaping the post-migration context.
