Steve Thompson’s new play is a study of the nature of comedy, the operation of censorship, and the complex misunderstandings implicit in the Anglo-American relationship... and is also, quite simply, gloriously funny. A remarkable true story that turns the spotlight on our special relationship’ with America and asks how much do we actually have in common?
